Art Diary Blog - 6th October 2025 - Tapestry Motifs

Here is some of my work from the Make Art That Sells ‘Lettering Bootcamp 2025’ course that I am doing. The tapestry images of birds, flowers, dogs,and butterflies, we were given to draw in our own style and medium of choice. This could then be used to inspire our work. The repetitive floral borders I think could be very useful, and I enjoyed doing the dogs and all the different floral motifs. It’s amazing to me that people can do such intricate tapestry motifs with just a needle 🪡 and thread 🧵.
