I joined in Inktober this year using my dog Poppy as a muse for the prompts they put out. Here is my ink drawing of Poppy with a pumpkin jumper on and leaning up against a Halloween Jack-o-lantern 🎃 pumpkin for the prompt Weave. I thought this would be sweet and give a nod to the season.

Here is some of my work from the Make Art That Sells ‘Lettering Bootcamp 2025’ course that I am doing. The Pip & Nut font we were given as a source, and then we had to write Oat &Jam in a similar style. I thought it would be a good name for a jammy flapjack brand making fresh flapjacks for sale in paper packaging. I love plastic free products 😀.

Here is some of my work from the Make Art That Sells ‘Lettering Bootcamp 2025’ course that I am doing. The Queer font we were given as a source, and then we had to write Love is Love in a similar style. I like the colour combination I used to create Love is Love, the colours and style reminds me of those Love Hearts sweets that have cute little messages on them. I really liked this retro style and hope to use it again.

Here is some of my work from the Make Art That Sells ‘Lettering Bootcamp 2025’ course that I am doing. The chocolate coated cherries font we were given as a source, and then we had to write Her in a similar style. I like the colour combination I used to create Her and the art deco feel of the letters and the design.

I created this colourful card for my sister and for a September drawing challenge by Lilla Rogers. I used crayons to draw it and pen for some of the text. I enjoyed creating a chunky platform shoe with stripy tights, and having fun with the text to go with the design. I did lots of swirly and curly writing in pen and I did more chunky text for Happy Birthday, with a shadow on one side. Here is some of my work from the Make Art That Sells ‘Lettering Bootcamp 2025’ course that I am doing. The Tab and Sprite font we were given as a source, and then we had to letter Traffic in a similar style. I wanted to add a few icons like a stop sign 🛑 for the i dot, a traffic light in the C and a little car above R. I framed it with some double yellow lines for a fun touch.

I created this colourful card for my nephew, and I practiced a lettering style that was used in the bar text to letter Roarsome. I used crayons, and I enjoyed recreating a favourite chocolate bar wrapper and having fun with the text to go with the design. I created this colourful card for my niece, and I practiced a lettering style that I was given on a lettering course to write Happy Birthday. I created this colourful card for a friend’s 60th birthday. I used crayons and had fun doodling hearts and flowers in the 60. It’s nice to make cards for friends and family, it gives it a personal touch and I have fun creating it.
