I drew this Sorry You’re Leaving card for a colleague who was changing jobs. I drew it with crayons. It was a fun and quick draw. It was nice to create the loopy lettering that filled the page and add the daisies throughout, like the words were blooming. The white crayon stood out well against the pink thick paper. I joined in Inktober this year using my dog Poppy as a muse for the prompts they put out. Here is my ink drawing of Poppy with a pumpkin jumper on and leaning up against a Halloween Jack-o-lantern 🎃 pumpkin for the prompt Weave. I thought this would be sweet and give a nod to the season.

Here is some of my work from the Make Art That Sells ‘Lettering Bootcamp 2025’ course that I am doing. The Pip & Nut font we were given as a source, and then we had to write Oat &Jam in a similar style. I thought it would be a good name for a jammy flapjack brand making fresh flapjacks for sale in paper packaging. I love plastic free products 😀.
